Jazmin Salas (top right) at born leader! She has started a group called the "Girls Group" within Hinsdale South were the girls can talk about anything from body image, eating disorder and sexual harassment. She has great empathy and wants to become a social worker. She will be attending Lewis University.
Tyler Hallman is another great humanitarian! He has risen to the rank of Eagle Scout.He has performed countless task, but the most impressive is "Project C.U.R.E." were they have package medical supplies to go overseas Ethiopia and Ukraine. He hopes to study mathematics, economics and political science at Northwestern University.
Anastasia Marie Galinski (bottom right) is amazing! While at Hinsdale South, she was the President of the Mock Trial Team, Math Team, National Business Honor Society, in which she has won countless awards! She has been in the Dean's List up to and including graduation! She will be attending Northwestern University.
Sedra Alkhudari 's(top left) future is bright! She has volunteered in Lebanon helping to provide medical assistance to Syrian refugees. And is so brave! Her scholarship speaks volumes of her dedication to pursue medicine.

Congratulations on winning the Candace Wesolowski Memorial Scholarship. Your volunteer work is outstanding and you have enormous talent competing in the poetry competition at Hinsdale South High School. You have many skills such as public speaking and many hobbies and activities such as being on the speech team and a variety show member. And congratulations on being the deans list honor roll for every semester. Awesome!
Congratulations to Kimberly Thul winning the Candace Wesolowski Memorial Scholarship. You're extracurricular activities throughout your high school years are enormous! In your senior year alone you, have done everything from student director to stage manager to assistant director and Drama Club President! Someone who volunteers selfishly will have success in life and love in the future!
Congratulations to Elisa Dooley. Ms Dooley has won the Candace Wesolowski Memorial Scholarship. Her volunteer work with the Alabama Rescue Relay and the National Alliance on Mental Health is outstanding and speaks volumes of her character.

Andew Goldbranson, the 2018 winner of the Candace Wesolowski Memorial Scholarship, lost his life in a tragic moped crash on July 3rd, 2019. in Fish Creek Wisconsin. I met him briefly at the Hinsdale South Awards Assembly in June of 2018 and immediately thought - What a fine choice we made. My heartfelt condolences to Andrew's family; May He Rest in Peace.

The Candace Golf Scramble 2016 was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came and supported our cause either by golfing, eating lunch with us or volunteering your time and resources! We're also happy to announce this year's scholarship winners: Shawn Davis and Madeline Nowak, outstanding students from Hinsdale South High School 2016. They have an enormous list of accomplishments including both being Illinois State Scholars! Their essays about community service and the dangers of drinking and driving were outstanding! Congratulations to these fine young adults!
